Dr. Noah Kimutai Serem is a Senior Lecturer in Electrical Engineering at the University of Eldoret, Kenya, specializing in electrical power systems, renewable energy integration, smart grids, power quality, and control systems. He holds a PhD in Electrical Power Systems from the University of Rwanda, an MSc in Power Engineering and Electrical Machines from Alexandria University, Egypt, and a BEng in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Moi University.
Dr. Serem has extensive teaching experience at undergraduate and postgraduate levels and has served in various academic leadership roles, including Departmental Examination Coordinator and Online and Distance Learning (ODeL) Coordinator. He has also contributed to curriculum development for the Open University of Kenya and supervises MSc and PhD research in renewable energy, smart grids, and artificial intelligence applications in engineering.
His research has been published in reputable international journals and IEEE conferences, with interests spanning renewable energy integration, power quality, electrical machines, and engineering optimization. In addition to academia, he is the Director of Digital One Engineering Ltd, providing consultancy services in electrical power systems design and project supervision.
