Dr. Gabriel Simiyu is a marketing lecturer in the Department of Business Management at the University of Eldoret, Kenya. He holds a PhD in marketing, a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA-Marketing), and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management (BBM-Marketing) from Moi University. He has more than eight years of experience in teaching, mentoring undergraduate and graduate students, providing guidance and counseling, and conducting research in relationship marketing, social media marketing, and sustainable consumption (environmental sustainability). He has published in peer-reviewed journals such as the Journal of Marketing for Higher Education (Taylor & Francis), the Journal of Nonprofit & Public Sector Marketing (Taylor & Francis), the International Journal of Organization Theory & Behavior (Emerald), and Management Matters (Emerald), among others. He also serves as a reviewer for the American Journal of Business (Emerald) and the Journal of Humanities & Social Sciences Communications (Springer). He is also a member of the Editorial Board of the University of Eldoret Journal (AJEST). Finally, he is proficient in quantitative data analysis, using advanced analytical techniques of mediation, moderation, and moderated mediation models utilizing Andrew Hayes’ PROCESS MACRO.
