Beatrice is a seasoned Research Officer with over 20 years of experience in environmental and climate change research, resource mobilization, and institutional development. Currently serving at the University of Eldoret, leading initiatives in proposal development, donor engagement, and strategic resource mobilization, while championing Quality Management Systems (QMS), Food Safety Management Systems (FSMS) and Information Security Management Systems (ISMS).Specialization
Beatrice holds a PhD in Environmental Science (Egerton University), an MPhil in Environmental Studies (Moi University), and a BA in Geography. A NEMA-registered EIA/EA Lead Expert, a member of the Environment Institute of Kenya (EIK), and a certified internal auditor in QMS, FSMS, and ISMS.

Dr. Beatrice's career began at the Tea Research Institute in the year 2005, where she advanced to Research Officer and secured a competitive Science, Technology, and Innovation grant as Principal Investigator. Have had opportunity to represent Kenya in research on tea internationally, including presenting collaborative research findings at FAO Headquarters in Rome. Have participated in numerous research conferences, workshops, and seminars, making presentations and sharing insights.
