Mr. Samuel Mbugua is an IT professional and researcher with a background in software development, information systems, and health informatics. He has extensive experience designing and developing digital health solutions for low- and middle-income settings, with technical expertise in Java, Android, Python, web technologies, and database systems.During his tenure at AMPATH-Kenya, he developed Kenya’s first mobile application for HIV home-based counselling and testing.
