This is an institutional (University of Eldoret) TAGDev 2.0 Programme funded by Mastercard Foundation through RUFORUM. TAGDev stands for Transforming African Agricultural Universities to Meaningfully Contribute to Africa’s Growth and Development. The following are my roles in the Project (i)Lead of Work Package 5: - Landscape Greening; (ii) One of the lead experts in The Agri-Food Incubation and Mentorship Hub (AIM Hub) at the University of Eldoret. This is a flagship initiative under the TAGDev 2.0 program, designed to address systemic youth unemployment, skills mismatches, and underutilized agri-food innovation potential in Africa. The destination of “Work Package 5” of the TAGDev 2.0 programme is to create 600 sustainable jobs for young men and women, persons abled differently and out of school youth (OSY) through forest and landscape restoration for dairy value chain ecosystem services.
